Back pain is so common it should be seen as an annoying, but normal part of life. Your reaction to back pain, how you think about it, is very important. We know that if you are very frightened or concerned about the causes, this can prevent full recovery.

As only 1% of all back pain is caused by a serious disease, in 99% of cases there is no need to worry. We also know that how you act when you have back pain is very important. Your back will recover more quickly if you keep moving.
