About Us

This website has been put together by Sheffield clinicians with a special interest in managing back pain. They include GPs, physiotherapists, spinal surgeons, rheumatologists, chiropractors, osteopaths and acupuncturists.

The site takes into account the latest national and international best practice guidelines on back pain management including those issued by NICE (the National Institute of Clinical Excellence), the Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Association and European Guidelines on Acute and Chronic Back Pain.

It has been designed as a one-stop advice site for people in Sheffield to find out what they can do to prevent back injuries and how best to manage back pain when it strikes.
